The 2006 FIA Formula 1 season commences at the impressive Bahrain International Circuit, situated only a short drive from Bahrain's capital - Manama.
The Sakhir Circuit promises to deliver passion and excitement with the Bahraini locals being as keen as anyone for their F1.
Friday will see the teams practise sessions followed by qualifying on Saturday and the main race event taking place on Sunday.
